开始这类拒绝信时，要首先对请求你捐助的组织表示感谢、歉意或赞扬，然后给出一个可信的原因，最后表示愿意提供其他帮助，至少也要祝愿对方取得成功。

中止捐助

Dear Mr. Casals：

We are sorry that we can no longer contribute clothing and small household goods to your organization.

It was our understanding that all these goods were distributed to the needy immigrant farm workers. In an attempt to verify this，by checking written records and by interviews，three of our members learned that the goods that were salable were sold by your board members，and the proceeds were pocketed for their own use.

Therefore，you will no longer receive contributions of any kind from our association of churches.
