用法
(1)a few含肯定意义，相当于some/several/a small number of。在非正式文体中，一般用only a few代替。例如：
① They have a few/some/several/a small number of apples in their basket.
在他们的篮子里有几个苹果。
② Only a few people attended the meeting.
只有几个人参加了那次会议。
(2)当a few前面有not或no修饰few时，表示“颇有几个”之意，相当于quite a few/a good few/many。例如：
Not a few/No few/Quite a few/A good few/Many of my friends have been to Hong Kong.
我有不少朋友都去过香港。
(3)当few受every，last，next，past，some，very等词修饰时，表示肯定意义，few之前不再加冠词a。例如：
① In the last few minutes，he checked up his paper again.
