Lecithoceridae (Gelechioidea) are known to be distributed in the Old World，especiallyin the Oriental Region. The family is characterised by the long antennae (about as long asforewing-length). The male genitalia are characterised by a beak-like gnathos turned anter-ad. The female genitalia are various but if the signum is pressent，it is generally a dentateplate. About 200 species are recorded in China. This paper deals with 5 species belonging to4 genera，of which lspecies is new to science. Three problems are mentioned in the discus-sions： 1) all known species of Hubei Province are distributed in the Three Gorge Reservoirarea of Yangtze River; 2) Merocrates albistria sp. nov. is endemic species in this ......     （共2197字）    [阅读本文]>>
