A total of 25 species from the caddisfly collection of the Three Gorge Reservoir Area ofYangtze River has been identified which representing in 12 families，with 15 species are previ-ously known，9 species are new to science and 1 species is new to Chinese fauna. Four newspecies：Economus triangularis Sun，Wormaldia quadriphylla Sun，Apatania spiculata Yang etWang and Dinarthrum tridigitum Yang et Wang are described and figured herein，remainingfive new species have been presented in a separate paper but their drawings and brief descrip-tions are included.
